The Castle of Selo entitled Cultural Monument of first category in 1963, is situated approximately 500 m West of the village Selo, in the Municipality of Dropull. It dates back on the 5th – 4th centuries BC. This fortification is settled in a completely rocky hill, with exception of a small plateau on the Northeast side, where traces of pottery and housing are found. The walls, about 3.30 m wide, are filled with ballast and stones, and their outside surface is crude as a result of local limestone formations. The wall is reinforced by two towers.
