The Castle of Melan, entitled Cultural Moument of first category in 1963, is situated in the village of Nepravishtë, near the mosque of Melan, Municipality of Libohovë. It lies on the surface of a triangle plateau, with the apex oriented toward the East. On the North and South, its edges fall on two intermediate platforms, while on the West they descend toward the field with almost vertical drop. The surrounding walls appear in two styles, the first one is polygonal and the second one is rectangle with flat sides. Its construction dates back before 1900, occupying a land area of 87 224 m2.
